Final Countdown with Keith Olbermann - Keith Signs Off

The backstory behind the termination of Keith Olbermann has yet to be told, but the smart money says it has to do with the Comcast/NBC deal that recently got approved by the various government entities that oversee these things.

Regardless on which side of the political spectrum you are on, you should be chilled at the thought that this obvious left-leaning, but well-meaning, commentator could be bounced from his job for speaking out against and being a counter voice to the rantings from the conservative talk radio and TV pundits. This country needs to hear a variety of opinions or we are not fulfilling the promise made by our forefathers. The First Amendment applies to everyone, not just Fox News and their ilk.

This action should be a warning to all of us: guard your freedoms carefully, because you never know when they could be snatched from you in the blink of an eye.
